"Women featured in this publication can be a testament to the power of women in shaping our community", was one of the aims of the publication. The women interviewed also chronicled problems, stumbling blocks and social mores faced by women trying to juggle home life and a business life while trying to fully realized their goals.  A recent headline noted that the last woman CEO in the valley was fired by the board of the company she founded. A veil of obscurity is still drawn about women. Paper dolls strung together, working hand in hand, still strive to make an impact with very few getting near the top.
